These terms govern your use of Portal Matters and include transactional SMS terms for account-security messaging.

Platform Use

Portal Matters provides software and workflow tools for provider data integrity, onboarding, credentialing-adjacent operations, and related administrative workflows. You may use the platform only for lawful business purposes and according to these terms.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit, the authority to act for your organization, and compliance with laws and payer or provider obligations that apply to your work.

Account and Credential Security

You must keep login credentials secure, promptly report suspected unauthorized access, and ensure that users are assigned appropriate roles and permissions.

Transactional SMS Terms

Portal Matters may send transactional SMS messages for account verification, login security, password reset, and one-time verification codes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance. We do not send marketing SMS without separate consent.

Data and Privacy

Use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Where additional healthcare-data agreements apply, those agreements control the handling of covered information within their scope.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Portal Matters is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from platform use.
